This was my opening weekend as well. Me and some buddies killed 16 woodducks in about an hour on saturday, but we had a lot of guns since the limit is two. Today I got a teal and a really nice pintail
Just checking in with everyone. The season here in VA doesn't start until Thanksgiving. Even then the action doesn't get good until the middle/end of January when it gets really cold and all the ducks are here from up north.
We had a couple of limits last season and I think we ended up the season with about 30 some birds. Not a huge number but I'm glad just to have a place to go these days.

I'll have some pictures up in the next few days too. I really wish we could kill more than 2 wood ducks because I could limit every day just one those right now.

Ive had the ill pleasure of hunting with Il Hunter. Not only did he drop some huskstbles in his own waders but he ejected every live shell he had into the swamp water. Then he proceeded to explain his love for the african beetle and its history while eating two donuts and a rootbeer. This kid is out of control.
