Where is the best place for...

ducks in florida or mainly in central florida. a friend of mine and i are trying to get into duck hunting but we don't know anywhere to go. any help would be appreciated.

I haven't hunted it personally but I talked to a guy that lives on Orange lake in N. Marion County. He's an avid duck hunter and said it's great there. I have done some in south fl. area and now live in n. central fl. Hope this helps. Oh and as you know there are plenty of gators so use a dog at it's own risk.

Hunter, Lake Talquin, just a few miles West of
Talahasee. The duck hunting is great, but need a
boat. There's an Rv camp with a boat ramp. Was
therein 1995. We could hear all the ducks flyingand
when the duck hunters would shoot, the turkeys
would gobble on the other side of the lake. I was
there on a special deer hunt. The first morning it
got down to 17 degrees, but the prisoners at the
work release centerwould stock the fire wood pile
every morning at each camp site.
