Default What's up with the price of steel?!

I am getting ready for a multi-day hunt, so I started looking at ammo to stock up. Wow--has it gone up!

Last year, I bought a case of Federal Ultra-Shok 3" 1 1/4 oz. 2s... was $10.99 a box sticker price, then I got a little off that for buying the whole case. This year, it is running $12.99 a box.

Other steel seems to have creeped up a little too. Anyone else seeing this or have any ideas why?

Good luck this year!

You can get the Speed-Shok Loads for that price but I dont recall seeing the Ultra Shok priced that low.....waterfowl loads have been expensive as long as I have been doing this.
