Goose hunting in sothern MI (Niles area)???

I just moved to the Niles area for work and I have been driving around but all the fields I am seeing are corn and beans. I only found a few stubble fields but I have not seen geese in them and I think they are actually in Indiana. I have seen a few flying around but I don't know were they are going or were they came from. I think the late season will be good with all of the corn around but it looks like I will have to head back up north to hunt in the early and regular seasons. Does anyone live around the Niles area?

I do not live in that area, but you are right on the late season, you are in the perfect area for it. I always have to head south to three rivers or so to find birds in the late season.

I am excited about having an extra month to goose hunt. I am going to have to start asking permission. There are a ton of corn fields around.
