I'm currently using a delrin Winglock,a GK slayer and a custom call made for me by Steve at

I'm very happy with all three and would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality shortreed

Depending on how much you want to spend I would say get a Zink either one of the acrylics or one of the polycarbs and the Mick Lacy sounds good too. The Big River long honker flute sounds good and is easier to blow than the short reeds. I use both.

I've been using a Faulk's for over 30 years. Never found better call for hunting in that time. The price is a bit steep now that the went up.
They might run as high as $10 now....lol. It's really not the call, it the person behind. Forget about all that contest calling b.s.
Winglock is an excellent call for a bit more.

If you want the best call there is, IMO it is the Sean Mann "The Eastern Shoreman". I grew up on the eastern shore and have been goose hunting since i could shoot.I like the longshoreman for its ease of use and great tone. Its very forgiving, and sounds great. I was lucky enough to have a wooden one custom made for me by sean mann, and ive been blowing it for the last hour. It sounds great. You can get an acrilyc long shoreman online.

if your new to goose calling i would recomend a foiles strait meat honker. its a very easy to blow call and it has an awsome tone. i love it and im thinkin about getting one of those or a zink paralyzer this year for goose season. whatever you get i hope you drop some geese with it.
