Well if you would like to spend money use the reminghton heavy shot 2's and 4's or if you want somthing cheaper I would reccomend the winchester high velocity xpert steel in 2's and 4's all are great loads.

Hevi Shot is the best IMO
For steel try Kent Fast Steel. BB and 3

I have found the Win expert shells patteren for SH!T.
Witch ever shells you chose PATTEREN them , on paper
I patteren all my shells and have seen holes a goose could fly thru.
I try different chokes ( I have 8 )
What patterens great in your buddys gun , may be real bad in yours ,even if it's the same gun / barrel length /choke.

I patteren my shells at 40 yds on a 4' x 4' target ( use a distance that most of your shots will be at or less)

So if using heavy 2"™s and 4"™s but if you want to use steel go up to 3"™s and BB to make up for the weight when using steel.

Kent or estate, and federal all make good loads. I would use the pump rather than the double. The double will have more recoil on you and could punish you at the end of the day if you get into a lot of shooting. vangunsmith
