Default Coots

Has anyone seen an increase or decrease in the Coot population in your area? It has been 3 years since I have seen one and we honestly had them by the thousands around here.

We use to have a bunch as I mentioned and other ducks like widgeon liked hanging around them to scarf up some of the grass that they pulled up.
