Default Tip:For luring geese and ducks in

One thing that is hitting the market is all these new inventions for impressions of live geese and ducks-such as robos, flags, boneyard decoy,etc...

But, i have found one way that has been very successful...take a decoy ballon(one with a string that glides in the air-they sell two different kinds at cabelas)..such as a canada goose ballon..instead of tying it down and letting it glide i took a little fishing pole and tied the ballon to the line....i let it go quite a ways up..when geese were approaching i would reel this decoy in-every now and then i would stop for about 2 seconds then continue...this is supposed to resemble geese coming into your spread(you can also tie more than one on-or get more people to do this with you). This technique works very good in a ground blind...and when geese aren't coming in..try this idea out. Good Luck.

Sounds interesting. I'd like to see it in action. I'd imagine a coupla those combined with a few "flaggers" would really make an attractive spread.
