Meridian Wildlife is a dynamic, high-growth company with an opening for a full time Bird Removal Technician in the greater Greensboro, NC and Sterling VA area. The ideal candidate will possess a sincere interest in wildlife issues, specifically birds. The candidate should possess an ability to solve unique problems “on the fly”, as well as completing jobs with unique circumstances. The candidate must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule including non-traditional hours. Some day travel is required. A successful candidate should possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess the ability to professionally represent Meridian Wildlife and communicate with members of store management, staff, and customers. Must have professional appearance, provide own transportation, an ability to carry up to 50lbs, and be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Bachelors degree preferred but not necessary for the right candidate. Training is provided.
We work with commercial companies removing nuisance birds and other birds that become trapped in supermarkets, big box stores, and distribution centers.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
This position provides new adventures daily. Our candidates love to answer the question "what did you do today?"
