Need an honest opinion for a bow & arrow product being sold

Dear Fellow Hunters,

Just recently, I have found this site: http://www.gamelandz.com while I was searching for the best bow and arrow equipment. From their classifieds section: http://www.gamelandz.com/sr_classifieds.php?do=ad&id=8 I saw this Chaparral Kaibab that costs $275.00. Is this the best bow & arrow equipment suited for a newbie hunter like me? I registered from their site since members got the chance to win great gears and post items you want to sell to co-hunters. That is why I found out about the bow & arrow item for sale.

I need opinions from expert hunters here if the item sold from that site is the best so far. From your point of views, I can decide if I will buy that hunting gear. I am just a sophomore in this field and wanted it to be one of my hobbies. I was thinking of venturing in other fields such as fishing, sport shooting, archery and other outdoor events.

youngblood I have hunted for 32 years killed my first deer with a stick bow my gramps lent me. there is so much info a good proshop can give you to get you off to agood start. not like when I started and you hand to learn and waste money the hard way. just to buy a bow off the site is not wise unless you know exactly what your doing. you need to know a comfortable weight you can handle drawlenght letoff, double cam single cam axle to axle, type of sights rest type of arrow typeheads. The right combination for you and your bow can be hashed out better at a pro shop where they let you try the product and have personal knowlege on what will make your setup fly the best. I shoot astos martins yorkspses dartons brownings and now a Mathews They all have thiere pros and cons. Most bows today are well built shooting machines. unlike the early bows. but setting them up is anotherthing , If you have not shot before pick a bow that is smooth on thepowercurve of the draw. choose a bow with a longer axle to axle length it will be more forgiving and choose a drawweight that doesnt wear you out. not the time to impress freinds with how much you can draw. A 40lb bow with a well placed shot will pass through a elk. you shoot the highest weight you can handle accurately.
