There are usually plenty of old hit and miss engines for sale at the Nat'l Threashers reunion at the Fulton Co, OH fairgrounds in July

What state are you from?.My dad has a huge collection. He is a pro so they will be in great shape. He collects the water cooled hit and miss, old briggs , maytags ,lawson ,John deer ..you name it.
