Canon AX10 color correction

Has anyone used the new Canon AX10 yet? Have you run into color correction issues like I have read about when editing? I am about to get one if it is as good as they claim, but I am also considering the cheaper Panasonic AG HMC40. Opinions and suggestions appreciated....Looking for a decent setup(camera, shotgun mic, lens filters, etc) for around $2500 That is the top of my current budget.
