Default Camera Sound Spooking Deer

I'm planning to take a dslr with me in the stand and am wondering what your experiences are with camera sounds spooking deer. Any ways to reduce the sound and still be able to use the camera? I've seen some "camera muzzles" online, but I want to know if that is something I will need for a deer 30 yards away.

Thanks

Which DSLR? Some are a lot louder than others. Personally with my 3 Canon's I've never spooked anything. As long as you're not rapid firing from 15 yards, you should be fine. I've had more game catch the glare off of the front element than hearing a shutter.

Good luck with the pics!
