Default Gl1 or Gl2

Im looking at buying a camcorder for this hunting season. Was woundering if theirs a big enough difference between the cannon gl1 and gl2 to pay the extra cash for.Just dont want to buy the Gl1 and wish i paid extra for the gl2.

I would purchase the one that is still being manufactured (GL2) if you buy a GL1 there is a good chance you won't be able to get parts for it should you need a fix.......Personally for hunting video I would stay away from either camera and go with a PD170 or a DVX100b, both are far better in low light situations.
