Default wireless mic question

I also am new tofilming my hunts.I ran out and bought a sony handy cam. It has no capability for a wireless mic. Is there some kind of aftermarket system I can buy or just buy another camera???
thanks...

I've got a Sony Handi-Cam too. I don't know of any way to enhance the sound. If you are new to filming, I would suggest using your handi-cam this season and upgrade next year.

are you saying there are NO inputs on your camera for audio? At all?
I just googled Handy cam and see there's about 5 different 'Handy cams' by Sony.
Let me know what model you have and I'll let you know whether its possible or not.........but I'd bet you can.

Look at these. http://www.beachtek.com/index.html These will allow you to hook up most any audio configuration you want.

I've got a bottom end sony handy cam and there are ZERO mic inputs on it. I think it's the HCR-52.
