Default I need a new Camcorder!

I just got back from a Texas hog hunt, on this hunt I decided to try and film some of the hunting action. I did OK (man does it look easer on TV) but now I want a new camera. We used some old one that still used the medium sized tape. I want high quality but I don't wish to go all out and get a GL2 or anything like that right away. Have been looking at the Sony dcr-sr85 60gb Handycam, looks like a nice starter camera. I don't know if I should get that one or make the upgrade to an HD model. Any help would be appreciated.
