Default Stabilizer Mount?

Has anybody tried the camera mounts that attach to your bow's stabilizer? I'm looking at trying to tape my own hunts and thought this would be an easy and cheap way to do it. Although, I'm kind of worried that the shock of firing the bow might damage my mini-dvd camera? Anybody had any experience with these?

Default RE: Stabilizer Mount?

I personally would stay away from these types of mounts, as the recoil of the bow will shut down the camera and you will most likely not get the shot on tape, unless you are using a hard drive cam........also trying to pan on the deer coming in and other things you will want to video will be difficult at best. Stick with a tree arm set up and use the bow mount for a secondary POI if you a really set on the bow mount camera idea.
