What camera is it? I recently purchased a Canon A560 and it seemed to go through batteries like crazy, but there was an internal problem that kept shutting the camera down as if the batteries had died.Took it back and got a replacement camera that has been working fine ever since.........maybe it's not the batteries but the camera.

Iown a small consumer digital camera and I use Energizer Rech. 2500mAh and they last me for about a week or two. I would think its safe to say that your batteries are junk, I have found this to happenbefore. I know that if you don't charge them fully out of the box and then run them dead and then fully recharge them again they will go bad on you and will only last for a few minutes, maybe an hour at the most.

Check the batteries is my bet.

Good Luck.

A little idea for you.... buy a 6Volt lantern battery... rip the top of the battery off, and you will discover that a 6V lantern battery is made up of 32 AA batteries inside!!! To buy 32 AA batteries would probably be at least $20-$25 or more, but you can buy a 6V battery for$3-$4 or so. Cheap way to get some AA batteries!!! [8D]

This is not even remotely true, just a bogus rumor circling the web recently. Don't be fooled!
