I've been checking on wireless mic systems a bit lately and it seems like some of them have hot shoe adaptors which would limit the need for a holder. There is a item called a J-rod that will slide into the mic holder on the XH A1 and has two shoe mounts. You can use one for a shotgun mic and the other to mount the wireless mic.

Prior to spending your hard earned money so quite a bit of research as there are several types of brackets, hot shoe extenders, on the market.
Try: Markertek.com
B&H pro audio division/accessories
Any of the sound pro distributors in California and also many of the aftermarket accessorie stores listed in the back of magazines like VIDEOMAKER.
I have several types and styles of brackets that I've bought that I use depending on the application of accessories.

Here is the website:
http://www.thej-rod.com/

I've never used one, just found it and figured it would be an option for mounting.

The j-rod looks like a good idea. I just have to find some shoes to attach to the back of my mics.

Get a shock mount for the shotgun mic. It will have a shoe mount on the bottom. Depending on what kind of wireless mic you have, it might come with one already on it. If not, google it and try to find one. I tried quickly and had no luck. I'm sure they are out there.
