Default ? on Panny HVX 200 HD for Outdoor optimal settings

Hey everyone. Its been a few weeks from my last post though I am really excited for what God had helped bring into my hands. I am about to buy a AG HVX 200 HD Camera!! I have used this camera in a studio set filming a few television shows and I love the camera. Now that I am getting more into the Outdoor enjoyment in my life and filming the process. I wanted to know if anyone has already had the pleasure of using this camera in the outdoors and has a know how to color correct the settings for proper use to give the best output in the footage.

This is a huge blessing and if there is anyone that would be willing to share there tips and tricks, I would greatly appreciate it

Thanks guys!

Awesome camera man! I don't use that one, but do use a panny. Here's a good forum for that camera:

I am excited on using the camera for the outdoors, thanks for the site and I have used that site for other usage in the past though nothing really useful for using this camera outdoors for this situation. I am hoping that someone has used this camera before for shooting hunting videos and have some tips or personal settings they used that has most optimal performance and best quality.

Thanks for the reply.

If you haven't got it yet buy the HVX Book by Barry Green. I have his book for my dvx. He goes into deatil about what all the different setting do, something that is lacking in my owner's manual. It's a must have IMO.

FarNorth,

Thank you for that. I have not come across that book and I will look for it. I appreciate the advice. I also noticed you posted on my other post about Filming Hunting videos. Thanks for taking time out of your day to share.

Again thanks.
