Scott - I should have some very nice English Setter pups available for Christmas. Let me know if anyone you know is interested. I would be happy to show them the stud dog (my male).

If you want to go hunting some time, just say the word and we' re outta here.

Kooldude: Thanks for the offer. There will be three of us on this trip (Me, my bro-n-law and father-in-law and it' s sort of a reunion thing) so I think we will pass this time but it would be cool to hook up and go out some time. Me and my Bro are always down to go to Ephrata. Maybe we could even do a cast and blast, hunting in the morning and do some fishing in the afternoon at Rocky Ford or one of the other local creeks.

SeattleSetters: Nice looking pup. I have a 9 mo old son so I am not in the market for a dog right now (one kid in the house is a lot of work as it is). If I hear of anyone in the market for a dog I' ll let you know or have em PM you through this site. Thanks for the offer to hunt as well. My time is a little limited with the new kid but I' ll let you know.

I spoke with Jim Tabor, District Biologist for WDFW Region 2. Much of his advice was similar to other peoples recommendations ie Wells WFA, Lower Crab Creek, etc. He also recommended Douglas Creek/Duffy Creek near Moses Coulee (about 6 mi NW of Wenatchee. Some of his information did seem to contradict what some hunters on the BBs have been telling me but that is no suprise. Everyone has their favorite areas and personal experiences that influence their opinions. Jim was very knowledgable and helpfull and I will likely hunt a couple of the areas he recommeded.
