Default Birds? In Africa?

Everyone knows South America is the place to go for high volume bird hunting/shooting.
Well my buddy talked me into going to South Africa and we had a great hunt!
2800 shells in 4 days - Yes my shoulder hurt. As soon as I remember how to upload a photo you'll get a peek.[:-]

I did Plains game hunting for 2 days of the trip, shot a nice Blessbuck and a Big Ass Kudu!

Day 2
Two of us shot about 600 pigeons. I shot about 1/3 of them. The white Pigeon in my hand is one in a million!

Nice pics, it sounds like a lot of fun. About how much do those geese weigh? It wouldn't bother me if you posted pics of the plains game on this forum either. Thanks for sharing.

More from Africa- Day three I hunted Kudu. We got lucky, stalking thru the woods this guy heard us coming and circled around to check us out. Last mistake he'll ever make.

Day 5 I hunted Plains game again. It was either a Black Wilderbeest or Blessbuck. (Had lots of other options but those fit my budget).

This Blessbuck isn't the biggest we saw but a full day of chasing the herd gave me a shot at him.

Hope you enjoyed the photos. I sure had a great hunt.

This hunt is alot more affordable than I thought it was going to be. Without Trophy fees and shipping of the Plains Game the whole trip including food & lodging,Ammo (2800 shells) and airfare cost Under $6,000.

The folks we used were fantastic, check them out here - http://www.grassland.co.za/

Last photo of that Kudu, Notice his head is still on the ground and his feet are 12 feet up in the rafters of this building...

Sorry your gonna have to turn your computer over.[:@]
