Default Dove Hunting

This was the first year that I did some dove hunting and I found it to be a lot of fun. I know that I killed at least 30 in three days. I have not tryed them to see if they are any good but soon I will thaw them out and give it a try. I'm not a bird hunter so it took me a minet to get hitting somthing flying down but when I did it was a lot of fun. I was gitting bored with hunting squarill so I gave dove hunting a try. I would say I a bird hunter now I will go back if the meat is good. Do you know a recipe to fix dove if you do give me a holler I like to hear from you. (Keep your eyes on the sky)

Pretty hard to beat the standard "dove kabobs". Take a boneless dove breast and wrap it around a nice jalepeno slice and then wrap 1/2 a slice of bacon around that.

Put about 5 of those on a skewer, throw that on the grill, flip over 1 time and cook until the bacon is done and you have a nice meal!

Try marinating in italian dressing and bake the breasts in the oven draped in bacon. Awesome!

I +1 on the 870, I use my 870 wing master, it is a dove slayer

doves offer a good challenge I always enjoy a day in the dove field
