Opening Weekend in South Dakota

Well, my brother-in-law and I headed to SD for opening weekend. Hunted near Mitchell and had a blast! We hunted private land, but there were roosters everywhere. Two days of hunting, limiting out in less than an hour both days. We hunted corn fields the first day, and sorghum on day 2.

My lab Gus had a ball flushing and retrieving both days.

nicely done! I can't wait for the season to open here in Missouri.It will be my first pheasent hunt, and I am not expecting those numbers if any at all.

you know how many birds they stocked where i hunt 25,yes, you heard it, 25.

i bet there was 100 hunters after those 25 birds here in pa.[:@]
