yea , once the flight birds come down you dont really need a dog up north to kill woodcock. it makes it more fun thoug plus they really help finding them on the forest floor once you have knocked them down.

The picture quality isn't that good.
fyi - picture only has 2 woodcock, the others are 11 grouse & rabbits
