New Mexico Quail
I am starting to plan my upland bird hunt for next fall and am wondering what parts of New Mexico are good for scaled quail or other kinds. I am not asking for personall hot spots, just some suggestions of areas that hold good numbers of birds. I live in North Dakota and hunt lots of pheasant, and grouse, as well as waterfowl but have never hunted quail before. I am looking forward to the trip and am looking for some tips on desert quail. Thanks for any help.
