Anyone hunt grouse in the NW part of New Jersey? I want to head home this fall and give them a shot, it's been several years. From what I can recall, there numbers were dropping off.
I can not say anything about New Jersey, but up here the numbers were up during our last season.. It all depends on the spring weather, to much rain and you get a poor hatch. The past few years our numbers were down and then last year up they came..
