I am new to upland bird hunting and was wondering if anyone knows a good field guide that has bird identification, habbitats and how to clean them for the most common of the upland birds? I am looking for a book that would have them all, or close to all instead of getting books on each bird. Any recommendations?

Your best bet is to go online and look up the Virginia Game and Fish or DNR, or whatever they call it there. Their site should give you answers to quite a few of the questions that you have.
