Hows the phesant hunting goin in Kansas??

Im just wandering how the phesants are working because im leaving Thanksgiving day to go hunt in kansas!!!!

Well, the pheasants are here, but right now it is way to hot to get a good hunt going. But thanksgiving day is supposed to be really cold and I think it is supposed to stay cold for a while. I live in North Central Kansas and I have seen a ton of pheasants. Problem is, we haven't had any moisture lately and the dogs are having a hard time finding the birds.

I'm on my way up there right after we eat the turkey! This cold front should be nice huh?

I was back to northcentral ks on the 10th-12th and we got 14 roosters and 7 quail. Should of had 30 roosters and 21 quail but you know how it goes. The birds are there. This cold weather and possible precipitation onwednsday sure will help out. I am going back tuesday night for another 5 days of hunting. I keep wishingI didn't move to Colorado this time of year. Can't beat upland hunting in my opinion!! Good luck to all!!
