Default Looking To Start

This past saturday, a guy I work with came down with his dogs and we did a little bird hunting. Now I'm hooked, I love it. I was wondering if there is any breed of dog that would be good to start with. One that would listen good and be easier to train.

i would say, SMALL LONG LEGGED AMERICAN LAB.
they are not best bird dog, i think setters, gsp are better on birds on point and covering ground, you have pointers,springers................................ ...................................

BUT THE BEST ALL AROUND DOG I HAVE EVER HAD IS THE LAB.

I would look up your local NAVHDAchapter. They will point you in the right direction.
