Default opener in SD

Well opening day rewarded us 13 birds. Seems like when my bodies from college come to hunt we have to work extra hard for our birds. Usually we have to trek through knee high snow(i usually take them out late season)now we were walking through knee high water. It rained the last 6 days and we got about 5 inches of rain up till the day before opener. I would have to say we were in ankle high water for 75% of the day [:@],, one spot i even got in waist high before i realized. thsi is ground we hunt every year and never dreamed water could cover as much as it has.
