Default New to the forum grouse in NY

Hi,
how are you doing I am life long bird hunter, part time trainer and a bird hunting nut. I was wondering if anybody could give me some places to hunt in NY. I hunt in maine but being a jersey resident NY is much closer. thanks and hello

Stewart State Forest (1,000 or so acres) in Orange county, NY might be a good option for you to hunt stocked pheasants.It gets pounded the first few days of the season andthey only have limited parking spots available, so you might show up and have to wait until a spot becomes available, but it's an option.
