Going on my first dove hunt

This saturday I will be going on my first mourning dove hunt in central WI. I am going with a group of guys that have done it before and invited me along. I have no idea what to expect. I would appreciate any tips or advice or ideas of what I wilkl be doing. thanks!

Dove hunting is usually social so be prepared to here some good stories. Also, bring lots of shells and aim for the beak. Good luck.

Bring lots of shells, lead the birds, don't worry about the misses, keep firing and have fun.

Hey these guys are right, but also doves are one of the hardest birds to shoot cuz they fly fast, but as stated before, have fun and lead em just a bit!!! Good hunting!!!.

as stated b 4 its fun but usually kinda dangerous if there are alot of guys, just be cautious and carfull and have a tons of fun bring lots of ammo, guys are always running out of ammo where i hunt and there are no store with-in 20 miles so i always buy some extra 12 and some 20 to sell to them for 5.00 a box; supply and demand baby!
