decoys for California dove hunting

I was going to buy some dove decoys but someone told me that you are not able to use them in California. I can't find anywhere that says I can't. As a matter of fact I have read several articles that make it appear to be an acceptable practice. Does anyone know if it is allowed in California?

My friends and I thought about using them. We decieded that it would was worth the effort to put them out. Cali has no shortage of birds but I do think you can use them.
