My favorite for a simply relaxing pheasant hunt, because I feel like I'm keeping to tradition, is an Ithaca SxS in 12 ga.. However, my meat gun for when I want toactually hit what I shoot at,is my inescapable Rem. 870 in 12 ga..

Stoeger M2000 semi auto 12 gauge. I've bagged so much stuff with it that it's my old reliable.

My Browning 20ga SXS it is a joy to shoot and carry.

I like my 20 gauge Ruger O/U or my Stoeger Upland Supreme SxS. Either one is light and swings good and are fun to shoot. I also like the choke selection for the barrels.
I have never really found a need for a third shot. Most of them in my young and foolish days were wasted.
