Well I went out all day opening day in Illinois for pheasants. We saw about 3-4 birds early in the day and shot but lost 2 of the birds in the thick grass. The winds started to blow in the afternoon so we went where the birds would go to get out of the wind and jumped 4 roosters and we got 3 of them. 2 of them were my birds but my other buddies only got 1 bird. So didn't see the most birds but we still did alright. Crops are coming out pretty late here and we think that the pheasants in the corn fields alot. How did every one else do?
