Default 12 less for next year.

While runnin and gunnin this morning, came across this nest. Not a pretty picture. Apparently, the raccoons have gotten to it. All but 2 were eaten, but it was apparent that momma hadn't been there for a couple of days. I know the coons gotta eat to, but what a bummer. [&o]

Yeah, that sucks.

A few years ago, a friend and I were hunting late in the season and each discovered several nests where all the eggs had been eaten and the shells still there. Many of the shells were intact with just a small hole in the ends through which the contents were removed.
