Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Smoked PA longbeard with the smokepole!

What a PA hunt yesterday in the rain. I took a real nice bird with the T/C encore 12 gauge muzzleloader at 42 yards. 20.4lbs 10 5/8 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Got everything on tape too! Anybody have any luck in the rain in PA?

nice! congrats!!! i called in a longbeard and jake saturday off the roost...the longbeard took his tie and was strutting for me about 40yds out....then the jake...out of nowhere bolted to me....5yds away we had a stare down.....he won...i had to blink sooner or later...he putted...i calmed him down but still couldnt move to the longbeard that DID close the distance....i could taken him at 40....but didnt want to risk it....and dont regret it.....but the jake hung around a min or 2 more puttting....the long beard snuck out immediatly......ill be back for him.....shoulda whacked the jake with a stick....or spit on him....
