I'd say take the best gun that you feel comfortable with, which ever one makes u the most comfortable, take that one. personally i use my 20 ga. mossburg, 3 " hv, 1 5/16 ounce 6 shot. but u use what makes u comfy. and have a great hunt

yeah just use what you feel comfortable with like what bushmaster was saying. i use an 870 express 12 but i shoot 2 3/4 shells in it. i could shoot the 3 inch magnums but the 2 3/4 inch magnums shoot well. so its just a matter of choice.

Kerr, depends what you are hunting and where.
I sometimes take my Savage 24V 30-30/ 20ga 23/4 & 3in
with #2 buck when hunting where there is alot of swamp.
Sometimes I take my Mos 835 23/4-3in-31/2.
It all depends.Just hunt safe!

Shoot both guns and take the one you feel most comfortable with. Make sure to know your maximum range with both guns.
