Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default 16 gauge turkey's

just curious to see if anyone hunts turkeys with a 16 ga, and if so what loads you use for them i know its alot harder now to find shells and most hunters are going to the 20 ga guns for smaller shooters.

Default RE: 16 gauge turkey's

I have a 16 guage that I have used...I use 5 shot, basically what i use out of it is just game loads...although i havn't had the chance to shoot a turkey with it. Patterning it showed me that theoretically i should have a dead bird out to 30 yards.
