Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default BUCKEYE GOBBLER *MANY PICS*

Gang,

I made a trip to Ohio to hunt my wife's uncle's farm for 3 days this week. It was a great trip with lots of gobbling, great weather and some cooperation from the birds. The terrain was far more rugged than I'm used to in Western NY, but I was up to the challenge

On the first morning this longbeard succumbed to the irresistible sounds of the Memory Maker glass over glass call from Larry Bean (Henrietta, NY). I took him at 40 yards at 7:30 AM

Bird # 1
21.5 pounds
1 inch spurs
10.67" beard
Score = 62.75

On last moring I endured fog and wind and no gobbling until 7:00 AM. Keep in mind, I was driving home at 8:00 AM. My only choice was to pursue the gobbling! After a miserable walk over 2 ridges, I was able to find the source of the gobbling and filled my last tag with this hearty jake...

Did not even take stats on the jake. Fear not, the NY season has not started! I probably just jinxed myself [:'(]
