Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Guidin a buddy in Ky

Guiding a co-worker at Peabody(vogue), we covered alot of world getting to a bird 100yds from a cemetary that you can drive too The bird was sequestered atop a pine thicket surrounded by spoils(those nasty, rocky type). Only chance we had was to get him within gunshot of the top edge of the thicket, so i sent my buddy down one spoil bank up on another that was with 35yds of where i wanted the bird to come investigating. I layed back several spoil banks and called lightly. Within two minutes there he stood and my buddy put the thumpin on him. Man, he was one happy dude! Fine ole bird. Approx 22lbs, 10inch beard with little over 1 inch sharpe spurs. About a 4yr old.
