Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Does anyone use the tru glo choke tube? What load do you use and what kind of patterns?

Tru glo makes two tubes, the Strut Stopper and the Gobbler Stopper. The Gobbler Stopper is the one you get at WalMart for about $20. The Strut Stopper used to retail at $50.(It did 2 years ago anyway.) I shoot the Strut Stopper. I killed 2 birds last year and one this year with it. One last year was at 55 yards!! I think it patterns ok but will probably get a couple tubes to try next year and see which one I like better. It does a pretty good job though. I shoot 3.5" HeviShot No. 6's.

I use the gobble stopper in my 870 with 3" #6's Win. I used the turkey targets last year and with a regular full choke factory I got average 22 pellets in the kill zone @ 30yds. With the extra full gobble stopper I got an average of 44 pellets! Big difference. I'm not a big fan of getting them as tight as you can, but this is a plus when the tom hangs up at 40 yards.
