anybody got anything yet? my season doesnt start here in indiana until a week from wednesday, so it kinda sucks hearing everybody talking about killing them on here...haha. I was just wondering how we were doing so far.
Season opens monday, the 18th. I, unfortunately, due to my work schedule, won't make it out until friday. The youth hunt was last weekend here, and my son shot a really nice bird from on of the farms I will be hunting. His bird doesn't help us any, but I got a feel for where the birds are and what they are doing, so I am quite hopeful.

My season doesnt start til the 28th. Chomping at the bit here. Did a 3d shoot today ... I'm still playing phone tag with a couple of landowners in CT, that season doesnt start til May 4. Cant wait to get out. family stuff will probably keep me from doing much scouting tho....
Sorry fellas, but I just call 'em in for other teams. I was calling for Bldhound Friday morning when he gigged one on camera. Helluva shot! But it looks like I won't fill my tag this time around unless I can slip away for a morning hunt sometime.

Well I've killed four turkeys so far. One eastern locally and three Rios on a trip. I only have the one listed but I'll go put the others on there. Regrettably I forgot to take my digital camera but three turkeys are three turkeys!
I still hope to do some good on Merriams in Nebraska next month!
Just got off the phone with a CT landowner, Permission Granted! He said there were 5 nice toms strutting on his property yesterday! Its only 40 acres, but sounds promising. Also, he said there is a HUGE buck on his property, a smart old boy that's been evading his neighbor for the past few years. He would rather see the old boy hanging on my wall than dying of old age, I'd be happy to oblige if I get the chance!
Well, I am going after them Friday morning, the 22nd. We have been watching them fly down in a certain field, and we set up the blind this afternoon. We watched them roost this evening, and they went right where they are suppose to go. I will be there at about o-early in the morning with my Hoyt, we'll see!! Good luck to all.
