MANOMANOMANOMANO can ya beleive it? Missouri FINALLY opens in less than 24 hours. Gun? Check.
Camo? Check.
Nitro Ammo/Rhino tube? DOUBLE Check!!
Dressin knife? Check.
Double Bull blind? Check.
Calls? Check.
Decoys? Check.
Cam corder? Check.
Cash the ol lady dont know about? CHECK!
Fishin rods (You can only hunt til 1 in MO)? Check.
Iced beer cooler? CHECK!

And da food is already on the way (wif da cook!). Man this one is gonna kick arse. Best weather forecast I can remember in years for up there. They really should be tearin it up and maybe even a lil lonely by now!!!

Good luck too whoever else is headed to the "Show me da beards" state! Im outta here for about 2 weeks for steaks, beer, boosheutin with buds and above all else BIG OL MISSOURI LIMB HANGIN, THUNDER GOBBLIN TOMS

Good Luck Red on your hunt. I am from MO and just got back a couple days ago from KS turkey hunting and was really looking forward to MO but found out I have to go into work tomorrow and work an emergency job and may not be back until the second week so I envy you.

Well the birds were broke up when I left but were with alot of hens and weren't doing alot of gobblin once off of the roost. Although I talk to my brother last night that said the gobbling has picked up in the last 3 days so you may get into some good hunting. GOOD LUCK AGAIN!!!

I know what you mean Red, I have been out several times listening to the gobbles, man its tempting LOL to take your shotgun along, but I have not give in , YET. Its been a long 49 weeks.

This morning about 6:15 when they were flying off the roost, they were gobblin there foolin heads off. It should be good. Saw a few birds roost tonight without hens some tomorrow has lots of promise.

I'm going to try to get my first ever gobbler in the morning. I just hope the Army opens up the area I've been seeing some at tommorow. Gotta work around them cause of the training that goes on. Wish me luck.

Well I'm jealous of you all.... I'm getting ready to go to work while all of you are probably getting ready to go hunting. Well once I get back next week I'm off til the end of season so save a few for me boys. I'm glad to hear the gobbling has picked back up and getting a few hens out of the way.
