Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default windy days...

On very windy days, 25-35 mph gusts, do the turkeys stay on roost longer and even shorten their travel pattern during the day? Today was a blustery day in NC...very little sounds and no sightings. Was I just wasting my time on such a windy day? Thanks, Tony!

Default RE: windy days...

I don't think they change their behavior patterns much in the wind. I think they just can't hear you or you can't hear them. Wind is the worst weather you can have for turkey hunting. A day in the woods is never a waste. You definately won't get one by staying home.
