Default KEntucky Opener NO LUCk

Got out and I heard one fly down and i let out a coulple soft yelps. Listened and Heard him gobble and i found out where he was at but he was on the other side of the creek and my papa wouldn't cross it [:@] MAn i was so mad but there is allways tommrow

No luck here either Trapper. We had six gobblers responding on opening morning, but once they flew down, we had too much "natural" competition with hens. This morning, we had a couple of hot birds headed our way, but a doe showed up, smelled us, snorted, and screwed that up!! After that, they started working their way away from us and eventually hooked with some hens. Oh well, I guess thats why its called HUNTING. Still plenty of season left. Good luck to all.

I got mine!!! 9.5 inch beard and 3/4 inch talons. Came out of the woods fully displayed... only took me about 30 minutes of calling... I will post some pics later if you guys are interested.
