Although I am from Montana I am not very familiar with the area around Missoula and the west end. Can anyone give me any information on hunting turkeys in this neck of the woods?? I am basiclly looking for places that turkeys are located.
most of the areas around missoula are draw areas if you go north around kalispel there are over the counter tags however most is private land and hard to get access Bigfork also has tots of birds Bitteroot valley is getting more and more birds every year i think 500 permits for this year Trout Creek,ThompsonFalls area has quite afew birds 150 permits I think? west of Missoula to Drummond some birds along the ClarkFork only 10 permits that is what they had last year da not know about this year yet
