Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default 10ga BPS, pattern, very pleased.

Well I finally got around to patterning my new BPS today, I'm very pleased to say the least, I was shooting the BPS 10ga with a 24" barrel and Rhino .720 2" ported choke and Nitro Hevi-Shot #5's in a 2 1/2oz load. I was shooting at 46 yards measured with a laser range finder, after shooting the factory turkey choke and making sure it was hitting at point of aim I put the Rhino Choke in and shot it, The factory choke put 168 shot in the Primos' turkey target that measures 12"X19", the Rhino choke put 240, The Rhino was very consistant, I'm pleased with my new set-up and may shoot it at a little farther distance one of these days but I have had about all the 10ga shooting I want today.

Heres some pics of my pattern.

Heres the back side.

Thats just the distance from my deck where my shooting bench is sitting to a fence that I hang a big piece of cardboard on with the turkey target taped to it.

Well one thing is for sure... Your gun will cleanly kill out to 45 maybe even 50.. I would still try not to go past 45...

Yeah I'm pleased with it, Also this was the first time I have shot with Tri-Viz sites, I kind of like them on a target, a turkeys head in the woods may be different though.

On one target I had 11 in the brain or spine and another target I had 12, not bad for #5 shot.
