Turkey Hunting
Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Jake decoy head color????
I see some jake decoys with dull red and blue coloring on the head. Others are bright red and blue. What is better? Bright or dull?

RE: Jake decoy head color????
It's about how aggressive you want the deke to look. More color means more aggressive. May be more likely to scare a subordinate longbeard.

I agree! There's never been a turkey shot using decoys.

RE: Jake decoy head color????
Feather flex makes a set of decoys with 2 jales and a hen, one jake is "AJ" (aggressive jake) with a bright head and the other is "PJ"(passive jake) with a dull head.
